This policy applies to all applications published by Alternative VR, including but not limited to RC Trucks, RC Car, RC Helicopter, Spinout Racer and RC Boat.

1. Data We Collect

RC Trucks uses Meta (Platforms, Inc.) platform features.
As a result, the application processes the following data:

User ID (provided by Meta platform)
In-App Purchase data (including purchased items and virtual currency such as Truck Tokens)
Challenges data (including participation in challenges, achievements, and leaderboard-related data)

We do not collect additional personal data such as name, email, or physical location.

2. How We Use Data

The collected data is used solely to:

Enable and restore in-app purchases
Manage virtual currency and purchased content
Provide challenge-related features such as achievements and leaderboards
Ensure proper functionality of the application

We do not use user data for advertising purposes.
We do not sell user data.

3. Data Processing and Storage

All data is processed and stored by Meta (Platforms, Inc.) as part of providing platform services.

Alternative VR does not independently store or manage user personal data outside of Meta services.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share user data with third parties.

Data is processed by Meta only to provide the following services:

User identification (User ID)
In-app purchases
Challenges and leaderboard functionality

5. Data Retention

Data is retained in accordance with Meta’s data retention policies.

RC Trucks processes limited platform-related user data provided by Meta services, including User ID, In-App Purchase data, and Challenges-related gameplay data. This data is used only for core application functionality such as purchases, progression systems, and leaderboard features.

This Privacy Policy explains how DDS Instructor (“the App”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the App.

The App is operated by Alternative VR s.r.o., trading as Digital Driving School (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Purpose of the App

DDS Instructor allows driving instructors to pair a mobile device with compatible Digital Driving School headsets, control training scenarios, monitor the current training state, and view scenario progress.

The App does not require users to create a personal account.

2. Information We Collect

Pairing and device information

To provide the App’s core functionality, we process:

A randomly generated controller token used to identify the App installation.
Pairing identifiers used to connect the App with compatible headsets.
Technical identifiers of paired headsets.
The connection and availability status of paired headsets.
The selected language and other application preferences.

These identifiers are used for technical pairing and application functionality. They are not intended to directly identify an individual.

The App does not transmit the user-assigned name of the mobile device.

Training and scenario information

The App may process information related to training activity, including:

Selected training scenarios.
Current scenario and scenario step.
Scenario completion and progress information.
Commands sent by the instructor, such as starting, pausing, continuing, or stopping a scenario.
The operational status of a connected headset.

This information is used to provide remote training controls and display instructional progress. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Technical information

When the App communicates with our infrastructure, standard technical information may be processed automatically, including:

IP address.
Date and time of requests.
Network and connection information.
Basic diagnostic or server log information.
App version and operating-system-related technical information where provided by the platform.

This information may be required for security, troubleshooting, service reliability, and prevention of misuse.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

DDS Instructor does not intentionally collect:

Names, postal addresses, or personal user profiles.
Email addresses through the App.
Precise or approximate location.
Contacts or address-book information.
Photos, videos, or files stored on the device.
Microphone or camera recordings.
Financial or payment information.
Advertising identifiers.
Health or fitness information.
Browsing history.
Data for targeted advertising.

The App does not display third-party advertising and does not sell personal information.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

Pair the App with compatible Digital Driving School headsets.
Maintain and restore authorized connections.
Display headset availability and training status.
Send instructor commands to a connected headset.
Display training scenario progress.
Maintain the security and reliability of the service.
Diagnose technical problems.
Prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use collected information for advertising, user profiling, or tracking users across apps or websites.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or similar legislation applies, we process information on the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract: processing necessary to provide the functionality requested by the user.
Legitimate interests: maintaining service security, reliability, troubleshooting, and preventing misuse.
Legal obligations: processing required to comply with applicable law.

Where consent is legally required, we will request it before carrying out the relevant processing.

6. Storage on the Device

The App stores a controller token and selected pairing information on the device so that the connection can be restored between sessions.

On supported Apple devices, the controller token is stored using the iOS Keychain. On other platforms, information is stored in the App’s private application storage provided by the operating system.

Removing the App normally removes locally stored application data, subject to the behavior and backup settings of the operating system.

7. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We use Supabase as a backend infrastructure provider for secure communication, pairing, real-time status updates, and storage of operational information.

Information may be processed by Supabase and its infrastructure providers solely for providing these services to us. Their processing is governed by contractual and data-protection obligations.

We may also disclose information:

When required by applicable law or a valid legal request.
To protect the security, rights, or safety of users, our services, or others.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the relevant business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

8. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards, or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

9. Data Retention

Pairing identifiers, controller tokens, and training-related operational information are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Maintain the pairing between devices.
Provide the requested application functionality.
Protect the security and integrity of the service.
Meet applicable legal obligations.
Resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized according to our retention procedures.

Server security and diagnostic logs may be retained for a limited period where necessary for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.

10. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These measures include:

Encrypted HTTPS and secure WebSocket connections.
Restricted server-side access.
Randomized pairing and controller tokens.
Secure storage mechanisms provided by supported operating systems.
Separation of public client credentials from privileged server credentials.

No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Request access to information associated with your use of the App.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of information.
Restrict or object to certain processing.
Request portability of applicable information.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
File a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Because the App does not require a personal account, we may need pairing or installation information to identify the relevant records. We may be unable to associate technical records with a particular person without this information.

12. Children’s Privacy

DDS Instructor is intended for professional driving instructors and is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the App. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.

13. Third-Party Devices and Services

The App controls and receives operational information from compatible Digital Driving School headsets. The operation of those headsets or related training systems may be subject to additional terms or privacy information provided by their operator.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our services, legal requirements, or data-processing practices.

When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and publish the revised Privacy Policy at the same location.
